"My business expertise is built on the back of a successful 28 year career in banking, 20 of which I spent specifically within lending. In the 8 years thereafter I pursued a career in real estate and started working for a busy real estate office. Then I took a leap of faith and became a small business owner myself. In the last 4 years leading up to joining Acorn Realty in 2010 I concentrated my efforts on business broking; a field which I find very interesting and am passionate about.
My banking knowledge combined with my own experiences in running a small business gives me a unique insight and vantage point, allowing me to assess businesses from a number of different angles. But most importantly I understand where my clients are coming from; the challenges they face and what their goals are.
Apart from holding a Diploma in Real Estate, I also work as a business consultant providing advice and services to Perth business owners (with some national exceptions as well). Over the years I have built up an excellent understanding of finance, real estate and commerce (a great all-in-one package if I do say so myself!).
